December 16, 2013 Poughkeepsie, NY:  Paintbrushes and Party! - Hudson Valley’s premier Paint, Sip and Party Art Studio opened its doors in the Apple Valley Plaza, 702 Freedom Plains Road, Rt 55 in LaGrange. On board are seven local artists who will guide you step by step to create an acrylic masterpiece you will be proud to hang on your wall.  Your inspiration will be enhanced by our selection of on premises wines and beers and the fun, uplifting music we play.  The inner artist in you will be discovered.

Debbie Gioquindo, Hudson Valley Wine Goddess is testimony to the Paintbrushes & Party experience. "The only thing I can draw is stick figures and that is pushing it. Deanna assured me that I would be able to do this, after all, it's painting along with sipping on a glass of wine or two and the finished product....my masterpiece! Steve Laing and Deanna Moriarty started this business after they experienced several paint, sip and party art studios out west.  They never thought they could create a painting that was worthy of hanging on the walls of their home but were pleasantly surprised when, after a glass of wine and step by step instruction, they became addicted to painting.

They felt the Hudson Valley could benefit from a place to go that helps to build self-confidence and self-esteem for all of its residents from ages 7 to 107 regardless of their abilities.  Everyone can’t sing, be a star on a sport’s team or play a musical instrument, but everyone can paint!
