Rey T is nominated for R&B Singer Of The Year 2013

OAKLAND, Calif. - Jan. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Only a day after 2014 arrives and Rey T heads out to perform in Oakland, CA at the Oscar Grant 5th Annual Vigil, Reynard Thomas (Rey T) has learned that he's been nominated for the 2013 R&B Singer of the year by The West Coast Blues Hall of Fame.

Every Year The West Coast Hall Of Fame selectives the top five (5) R&B singers that have had a great year with records sales and/or live performance, this year Rey T has done both with him releasing Six (6) singles this year and all of them receiving heavy rotation on 35,000 thousand radio stations around the world on FM/AM, Internet Stations including the #1 International Internet Radio Station "Paladin Radio " (WPAL) , Smooth R&B, The Hot Mix 106, Indie 104, Audio Graphics, 10 Mile Radio, Hit A Day, Indie Mad Radio, KRYC, TNT Music, 98 Merge FM, KPOO, KPFA and many many more!

Rey T has also toured extensively across the nation working with various artists including Special Request, Ronnie Stewart, The Caravan of All-Stars, Xymphoni, Korrosive and Rob Bess again just to name a few!

I spoke with the management team for Rey T (Ayyub Nasir and Shree Thomas) whom were both elated about the news of Rey T being nominated & favored to win this years prestigous award, saying it's been a long time coming for the super talented artist.

Announcement of the winners will be made later this month with the award ceremonies taking place in March or April of this year with Rey T taking the stage to perfom one of his chart topping hits being that he has so many to choose from, let me remind you that "Special Request Featuring Rey T hit the "World Breakout Charts and RDIO" with the track " I'm The Only One " going as high as #1 for 12 weeks on RDIO #8 on the Internet chart, plus they remained on the top 20 charts for four (4) weeks with their other track " It Was You " before releasing "It's On Me, Badunkadunk, I Work ( the working man & woman's anthem ), Flesh On Flesh, Bluer Than You and Put It In The Past.

Look for their lastest single "I Apologize " on MRE Entertainment/Prime USA Records to be released in early January 2014 and their new cd due out late spring early summer which is bound to be a classic, just as all the songs that they've released over the years!
