Ralph Cooper, Veteran SAG-AFTRA Agent, Joins Washington, DC's Capital Talent Agency

WASHINGTON - Jan. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Ralph Cooper, formerly head of the promo-trailer-narration department at AVO Talent in Los Angeles, has joined Capital Talent Agency, LLC, of Washington, DC.  Ralph will serve as CTA's Lead Agent with responsibility for the talent agency's film, television, commercial, and voice-over division.

Cooper has nearly 20 years of experience in the television, film, and voice-over businesses.  He has worked in Los Angeles with Universal Studios and MGM Studios and with two of LA's leading commercial talent agencies, CESD Talent Agency and AVO Talent.  Cooper was responsible for obtaining voice-over work for clients such as Denis Leary, Burt Reynolds, Martin Landau, James Garner, and Phylicia Rashad and placed these and many other actors in national ad campaigns for companies such as Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Toyota, Bank of America, and Budweiser.  Cooper also has years of experience in placing voice-over talent with Universal Studios, Warner Bros., Paramount Studios, and MGM.

In addition to his experience as a veteran talent agent in LA, Cooper worked for many years in Hollywood as a writer, director, and producer with several television and film production companies.  Cooper graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
