Skip’s Dock Cleaning, Lube & More Opens

York, PA Jan 2, 2014– Lewis “Skip” Crone has opened Skip’s Dock Cleaning, Lube & More officially as of Jan 1, 2014 serving York and all surrounding areas.  The company will focus on dock operations, safety and cleaning to keep any commercial dock in good working condition and in compliance with all OSHA regulations.

Skip is OSHA certified to do this work and fully insured.  The services include cleaning and lubrication of all dock equipment, pressure washing dock seals, shelters, doors, sidewalks and more, and repairs.  The goal is to keep businesses running clean.

Loading docks have an increased potential for serious injury. One major safety factor is making sure the dock areas periodically are cleaned to remove accumulated debris, leaks, and anything else that can get trapped in there such as animals, leaves, trash.

Owner and Operator of Skip’s Dock Cleaning, Lewis Crone says, “I started this business after working around docks most of my career and seeing the need for someone who is properly trained to work with and around them, it’s can be dangerous.  We work with the Maintenance department to ensure they have proper dock cleaning every six months to keep the dock in optimal working condition, clear away any hazards and increase the life of the dock.”

About Lewis “Skip” Crone

Skip was born and raised in Dover, PA, where he continues to live now with his wife and children.  He is a Dover High School graduate.

Skip always tinkered around with cars and such and is a mechanic by nature, welds and fabricates as well.  He spent 17 years at Harley Davidson as a press operator then went into dock and equipment installation before starting his company Skip’s Dock Cleaning, Lube & More.  He is fully bonded and insured.
