PGA National Resort & Spa to Debut New iClub Piano Bar, Saturday, Jan. 11

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Jan. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.  – On Saturday, Jan. 11, PGA National Resort & Spa will add another component to its award-winning hospitality offerings: iClub Piano Bar, a sophisticated lounge featuring live music alongside cocktails and light fare in an atmosphere reminiscent of classic supper clubs and piano bars. This stylish, memorable escape will offer locals and resort guests world-class entertainment and hospitality. Following recent $100-million property-wide renovations, iClub Piano Bar joins a trifecta of offerings at PGA National that invite guests to “linger longer,” including the signature Wine Spectator-awarded restaurant, Ironwood Steak & Seafood, and iBar, one of the most buzzed-about bars in Palm Beach.

Located in the main lobby, iClub Piano Bar will be open Thursday through Saturday from 6-9 p.m., featuring pianists and vocalists performing jazz, classical and contemporary favorites. The lounge will be enclosed in glass walls and offer seats for 40-50 guests, creating an intimate ambiance to enjoy great acoustics alongside cocktails, tapas and desserts.

“We’re looking to fill the niche of quality live entertainment for locals and visitors in Palm Beach Gardens,” Paige says. “Given PGA National’s track record for hosting top-notch events, including the Honda Classic and hundreds of extravagant weddings, we felt that we could recreate the total experience of a classic piano bar that would be really appealing and transportive for local residents and guests.”

PGA National will invite the public, resort guests and club members to discover the new iClub Piano Bar at a special launch event, PartiGras, on Saturday, Jan. 11. This Mardi Gras-themed evening will feature the MarchFourth band, a dynamic jazz-fusion musical group, which will lead guests throughout the resort grounds for a progressive dinner of Cajun-inspired cuisine. Guests will be the first to discover the new iClub Piano Bar as vocalists and musicians from iClub perform at each stop along the way. A portion of event proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross.
