Indie MMORTS Avalon Lords Reveals New Unit Artwork

NEW YORK - Jan. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- 08^th January 2014

Avalon Lords, the MMORTS created by indie studio Animus Interactive, today revealed new unit artwork featuring knights and swords.

As a thanks to the community Animus Interactive have also produced a desktop wallpaper featuring the Dawns Whisperer. This unit is exclusive to the Order of Dawn and specializes in stealth, subterfuge and sabotage. This unit will see heavy usage through indirect warfare and diplomacy and could rapidly become one of the most valuable at your disposal.

The writers of Animus Interactive have also prepared a brief look into the developing lore of Avalon which details a standard operation for the League Of Whispers. This brief excerpt can be found below.

“Ware the day, Watch thy tongue
Beware M'Lord, Of the coming sun
Neither Gold, nor steel halts the dawn
Thus it is so, You will be undone.” - Zinnavyre Dryadson, Oracle Of Darkness.

The lord closed the door to his shadowed bedroom and stiffened when a voice whispered through the darkness “My Lord.”

It was a voice the lord neither expected nor recognized. Instinctively his hand darted to his dagger as he whipped around and lunged at the shadowy figure standing in the blackness of his room. It wasn't until he was inches away from plunging his dagger into the shape when he stopped, his eyes had caught a glimpse of an emblem on this figures shoulder, it was that of the Order of Dawn. The lord’s body trembled and his hand released the dagger, clattering to the floor as he froze in place. The emblem could only mean one thing, that the League of Whispers were paying a visit.

“My lord?” The shadowy figure spoke up once more, stepping out of the darkness, revealing a beautiful, cloaked woman who until now had remained perfectly motionless. Her piercing green eyes met the trembling man’s gaze with a faint smile upon her lips as the question lingered in the air between the two. Was she enjoying his fear?

“BY THE GODS WOMAN!” Cried the lord, finally pulling himself back together just enough to regain some control of his body. His face red, he began backing away from the Whisperer, trying to calm himself down and cease his rattling bones. “I almost killed you.”
