Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care Announces the Grand Opening of Austin Clinic

AUSTIN, Texas - Jan. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care CEO Thomas Spurgat MD announces that its pediatric urgent care is now open. This is the 6^th location to open in Texas.  Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care boasts a team of Board Certified, ER trained Pediatric Physicians and specialists qualified to treat pediatric patients ages newborn to 21.

Located at 2113 Wells Branch Parkway, Suite 1200, Austin, TX 78728, the new clinic will be open 7 days per week with extended evening hours. The Little Spurs clinics were created to help patients avoid long waits in the emergency room.  For added convenience, all offices are equipped with x-ray and lab facilities.  Ear/eye infections, UTI’s, laceration and broken bones are only a few of the illnesses and minor emergencies treated at Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care. “We are devoted to caring for children and we’re so excited to provide a convenient location in the Austin area” said Dr. Spurgat.

Two experienced Pediatric Physicians, Hana Zibdeh-Lough, D.O. and Will Garner, M.D, were hired to staff the new location.  Dr. Hana Zibdeh-Lough attended medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.  She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Will Garner earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his pediatric residency at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. “We are excited to join the Little Spurs team bringing pediatric-focused urgent care to the Austin area” said Dr. Garner.
