General Services Administration Awards McGladrey Blanket Purchase Agreement

WASHINGTON - Jan. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) recently announced that McGladrey LLP, the nation’s leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, was awarded one of eight awards for a five-year $64 million Blanket Purchase Agreement with the GSA’s Public Building Service. As part of the agreement, McGladrey will execute a full spectrum of real estate support services focused on federal government cost reduction.

The primary objective of the contract is to support the Office of Real Property Disposal and Utilization with its responsibilities under the Presidential Memorandum entitled Disposing of Unneeded Federal Real Estate, which guides the Federal Government’s economical and efficient use of available property, as well as the disposal of surplus property, among other activities. The contract may include federal properties located in any of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the U.S. Pacific Territories.
