Paintbrushes and Party! shows support with donation to Vassar-Warner Home

January 10, 2014, Poughkeepsie, NY:  Paintbrushes and Party! - Hudson Valley’s premier Paint, Sip and Party Art Studio in the Apple Valley Plaza, 702 Freedom Plains Road, Rt 55 in LaGrange presented Vassar-Warner Home with a check for $100.00.  A small fundraiser was held where supporters of Vassar-Warner Home unleashed their inner artist and created one-of-a-kind masterpieces guided step by step by one of their highly trained art teachers.

The artist’s inspiration was enhanced by the selection of on premises wines and beers and the fun, uplifting music they play.

Painting at Paintbrushes & Party takes you away from any stress or worries in your life and makes you laugh, have fun, meet new friends and create your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece.  It's therapy for the soul. You will leave and say "Everyone can paint. Yes I can!"

Steve Laing and Deanna Moriarty started this business after they experienced several paint, sip and party art studios out west.  They never thought they could create a painting that was worthy of hanging on the walls of their home but were pleasantly surprised when, after a glass of wine and step by step instruction, they became addicted to painting.

They felt the Hudson Valley could benefit from a place to go that helps to build self-confidence and self-esteem for all of its residents from ages 7 to 107 regardless of their abilities.  Everyone can’t sing, be a star on a sport’s team or play a musical instrument, but everyone can paint!
