Share Your Animated GIFs on Facebook*

Jan. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- * Actually, it's not possible to share animated GIFs on Facebook, but: Giffy, a new web service, converts them to videos, and videos can be shared.

Giphy, a search engine for GIFs, has created a workaround to post animated GIFs on Facebook. There is, however, one rather significant downside in their workaround: GIFs have to come from Giphy. The search engine hardly finds all the GIFs available on the Internet, and it’s likely that your favorite ones, or the ones that you have made yourself, are missing from the search results. That is why we created Giffy, a new web service, which converts GIFs you choose from your computer to videos and lets you share the videos on Facebook. You can also download your converted videos and save them for later use.
