Wine for the 99™ Announces Valentines Day Event: Graffiti and Chocolate

Pastry chef and wine expert pair up for a singles Valentine’s Day dinner and dessert class that draws on their teen years writing graffiti in Washington Heights

NEW YORK - Jan. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- January 15, 2014 New York, NY — Today Wine for the 99™ announced the sale of Tickets to “Graffiti and Chocolate”, a Valentine’s Day event at the intimate chef’s table at Kitchen NYC in midtown Manhattan.

“We grew up writing graffiti together in the Heights and have been looking for a project where we could collaborate,” said Christian Galliani, CEO of Wine for the 99™. “This is the ideal event for single wine and chocolate lovers, who are looking for a fun, authentic experience on the most contrived holiday of the year”

Chef Stephen Shea who has worked at restaurants including Mesa Grill, Otto, Lutece, and David Burke’s DBK will prepare a light dinner followed by his signature dessert: A decadent three-layer hazelnut gianjuja brick with bourbon caramel sauce and a graffiti lacing.

Galliani will pair each course with wines that draw on Wine for the 99’s ethos which champions smaller estate-grown wines.

Chef Shea will prepare dessert at the chef’s table so guests may watch and participate. There will also be plenty of war stories from the kitchens of celebrity chefs along with tales of New York City in the 80s and 90s.

There are 16 tickets available by pre-pay only. Buy tickets at wineforthe99.com. For questions, call 646-670-7092
