COMINT Consulting Adds RF Analysis to FEI-Elcom Tech Receivers

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Jan. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- COMINT Consulting announced that their Krypto500 SIGINT analysis, classification and decoding suite can now be used with several receivers designed by FEI-Elcom Tech Inc. Specifically, the Elcom SIR 3000, 2000 and 1000 family of COMINT receivers are now supported and available for use from within Krypto500. Together, the two products create a powerful SIGINT collection system, even in harsh signal environments

COMINT Consulting’s Fadefilter and other advanced processing algorithms boost Elcom’s receivers’ abilities to capture more data from tenuous signals – intelligence that is often missed with lesser systems and software. Krypto500 continually analyzes even poor-quality captured or live data and analyzes it to extract every possible digital bit of essential data.

These capabilities are available for wideband VHF/UHF frequencies on the SIR-3000 Wideband and SIR 2000 Narrowband models, as well as the SIR-1000 Narrowband HF models. All of the receivers are optimized for minimal phase noise, low spurious and the reduction of IP2/IP3 related signal distortion, increasing signal detection ability in masking environments.

Krypto500 has built-in collection tools for manual and automatic as well as unattended detection, recording and decoding of signals of interest that, together with the Elcom receivers, can maximize the potential of both and create an exceptional SIGINT/COMINT collection system.
