By: JumpStart Ink In addition to many news articles and TV reports from around the country telling the story of offshore Vietnam War veterans suffering and dying from Agent Orange/Dioxin exposure, there have been an impressive number of support letters and public resolutions urging passage of this bill. More than 35 major National Veteran Service Organizations have expressed in writing their support for this pending law. At least three Counties, two Cities and six States have passed Resolutions in support of changing the VA regulations to provide medical and compensation benefits to members of the Blue Water Navy currently disabled through Agent Orange/Dioxin poisoning. More public entities will be passing similar resolutions by April 30, 2014. The Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Association (www.BlueWaterNavy.org) Members of the public are asked to show their support for service members by contacting their representatives about the issue at hand.
