Alisa E. Moen Named General Counsel of Dillon Gage and President of Diamond State Depository

DALLAS - Jan. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Alisa E. Moen of Delaware was appointed General Counsel of Dillon Gage and President of Diamond State Depository and President of International Depository Services of Canada, both subsidiaries of international metals dealer Dillon Gage Metals in Dallas.  Moen has worked with Dillon Gage as its legal counsel for over 6 years and will now serve as General Counsel for all Dillon Gage companies.

Dillon Gage offers independent domestic and international depository services for precious metals and certified coin storage through its two subsidiaries Diamond Stateand International Depository Services of Canada, located near Wilmington, Delaware and Toronto, Ontario, respectively.

Moen, formerly a partner with Blank Rome LLP, has focused her legal career on corporate and fiduciary matters.  While at Blank Rome, she vice-chaired the firm’s Corporate Litigation Practice Group.  She previously advised clients on corporate governance, complex commercial transactions and entity formation, including special-purpose entities. Moen has appeared before state and federal courts in many jurisdictions and is an experienced trial attorney.  She is admitted to practice before the Delaware Supreme Court, Delaware District Court, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court.  She is an active member of the American Bar Association, the American Inns of Court, and the Delaware Bar Association.

Moen received her JD from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and earned her BA cum laude from the University of Delaware.

Moen is the Editor-in-Chief of the Delaware Law Review, a semi-annual publication of the Delaware State Bar Association. She is a member of an advisory board at Young@Art, a Delaware nonprofit initiative that provides financial literacy and art instruction to adjudicated youth. Moen has been appointed by Delaware’s Governor Jack Markell to the Commission for Women, a bipartisan committee that promotes equality and advancement of women.  She also chairs an annual Cure in Sight fundraiser in Wilmington, Delaware that supports the Choroideremia Research Foundation (CRF). CRF is dedicated to finding cure for a genetic disorder that causes blindness.
