Orange County Photographer Participating in Charity Model Search

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Jan. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Local family photographer, Asea Tremp Photography, is participating in the 2014 Charity Model Search to select North America’s cutest kid and to raise funds for non-profit photography organization Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting parents and families who experience the tragedy of an early infant loss. NILMDTS connects families with volunteer photographers and provides them with a professional portrait session and reproducible CD of the images of their baby at no cost to the family. Since this fundraiser started in 2009, NILMDTS has served approximately 12,775 families. 2,500 of those families were served because of proceeds raised through this annual event.

Participating photographers submit portraits at their clients’ request to an online voting gallery. Parents let friends and family know about the event and encourage them to vote for their child. Each vote raises $1 for the non-profit organization, with 100% going directly to them. There is no charge to the families to participate. Finalists are determined by voting, and the winners are chosen from among the top 10 in each age category.

The 2014 prizes will be announced soon. Among last year’s prizes were $500 cash, a new camera, andToys R Us and Target gift cards. Prizes are awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finalists in each of 3 age categories. In addition to the great prizes being offered, Asea Tremp Photography will award the family with the most votes, submitted by Asea Tremp Photography, a full family photo session.

Asea Tremp is a both a NILMDTS volunteer and a professional photographer in Huntington Beach serving Orange County and the surrounding area.
