Kids Wish Network partners Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert nominated for 2014 Grammys

HOLIDAY, Fla. - Jan. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- It’s rare to find Grammy-winning artists who care about their fans as much as country superstars Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert. Kids Wish Network is proud to call both Swift and Lambert Guardian Angels for granting wishes for kids with a life-threatening illness. Kids Wish Network is a Florida-based charitable organization dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children having experience life-altering situations.

Swift granted a wish for 6-year-old Madison, from Mankato, MN, who suffers from Sacral Agensis Syndrome. Born with this rare condition that prevents the lower part of the spine from properly developing, Madison is confined to a wheelchair and suffers from frequent bladder infections and terrible lower intestinal issues.

Kids Wish Network worked together with Swift to create a memorable evening for Madison. With backstage concert passes, Madison met the star, posed for photos and got autographs. “I told Taylor that I love her music so much that I wore out her CDs!” says Madison. “When I listen to her music I don’t feel scared.”

Lambert partnered with Kids Wish Network to grant the wish of Lindsey from Frostburg, MD. Lindsey was born with a blood clot in her spine that has paralyzed her for life. Completely reliant on a wheelchair for mobility, Lindsey has endured over 20 surgeries in her life including having steel rods inserted, removed and reinserted into her spine.

Lindsey met her favorite country star, Miranda Lambert, at the CMA Music Festival where Lambert posed for photos and signed autographs. As Lindsey was leaving the festival, Guardian Angel Swift drove by and gave her a wave!

Kids Wish Network thanks Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert again for making Madison’s and Lindsey’s wishes come true and knows this will be an experience they’ll never forget.
