Tim’s Times Application Launches, Receives National AttentionCrowd sourced data being used to calculate estimated wait times at more than 4,000 Tim Horton's Locations
Designed to help Tim Horton’s coffee lovers avoid frustratingly long wait times, Tim’s Times relies on crowd sourced data and a unique algorithm to display the estimated wait time at over 4,000 Tim Horton’s locations. “We hope to answer the age old question of which line is the shortest,” says QJumprz President Scott Love. “This application aims to help the world manage their time, and their expectations in a Tim Horton’s drive-thru, a little bit better.” Tim’s Times is available on all iOS7 devices, with full Android support planned for March 2014. In addition to an Android release, QJumprz also plans to further develop the usability and functionality of the app to reward its most diligent users. “This is a social application, and we have some very exciting social additions planned for the near future,” explains VP of Development Adam Geiger. "We want to reward those that use it most, and provide accurate information. Tim’s Times was first introduced to the App Store on January 3, 2014, and in a short period of time has received some favourable local and national press. MobileSyrup, an authority in Canadian mobile technology, featured the application, followed shortly by Canoe and the Sun News Network. “We’re encouraged by the initial response,” said Vice President Kevin Bassendowski. “Our brand has received more than 1,000,000 impressions in a period of four days, and usage has increased drastically. As usage continues to increase, we hope the wait times for everyone continue to get shorter.” For more information on Tim's Times, please contact homebase@qjumprz.com.
