Auto Remarketing’s 4th Annual CPO Dealer of the Year Award Announced

Auto Remarketing is a well-respected news source for the used car industry. Auto Remarking reports on the latest news from the used car, certified pre-owned, remarketing, auto auction and auto finance industries. An influential source in the Certified Pre-Owned industry, they started awarding an annual CPO Dealer of the Year award.  2013 marked the 4^th annual CPO Dealer of the Year Award.

The 4^th annual award was presented to Galpin Ford. Galpin Ford, located in North Hills, CA is led by Bert Boeckmann, whom is no stranger to awards himself such as, his membership in the Automotive Hall of Fame and the 1985 TIME Magazine National Quality Dealer of the Year award.

Bert has led Galpin Motors as the No. 1 CPO volume dealer for Ford Motor Co. for 12 consecutive years. The Galpin organization has stood behind the Ford and Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned programs with true commitment year after year.

While in an interview with Auto Remarketing, Boeckmann summed up how Gaplin's commitment to the CPO program benefits the dealership, as well as, the customer.

“Since we carry cars that easily qualify for it … the vast majority of our cars would be CPO,” he said. “And it just moves wonderfully, and the customer is happy. He’s back here for service, as is required, or certainly warranty work if it’s needed. And the customer is thrilled, we’re thrilled. It works well and he’s got a better financing arrangement, if he’s financing the car, and a better warranty benefit, as well.”
