Eastview Development expands firm with addition of Gregory Stepp as Director of Construction

Feb. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- MIAMI, FL – February 4, 2014 – SouthFlorida-based real estate development firm Eastview Development (http://www.eastviewdev.com/) has named Gregory Stepp as its new Director of Construction. Mr. Stepp is a seasoned real estate professional with more than two decades of industry experience developing high-profile construction projects. Prior to joining Eastview, Mr. Stepp served as president of Southland Contractors Group, Inc. in Davie, Florida. He also held previous positions with WSG Development Company, Related Group, CMC Group and Turner Construction Corp.

In his new role, Mr. Stepp will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight, direction and control of the development and construction of Eastview’s 399-unit Biscayne Beach (http://www.biscaynebeachresidences.com/) luxury condominium project. Located at 711 NE 29^th Street in Miami’s East Edgewater neighborhood, the 51-story waterfront high-rise is the result of a joint venture with New York-based investment firm GTIS Partners (http://www.gtispartners.com/). Construction of Biscayne Beach is expected to get underway in spring 2014, with completion slated for 2016.

Known for delivering skillful management and measurable results, Mr. Stepp brings senior-level expertise that spans more than 20 years, over 6,800 residential units, 1,350 luxury hotel rooms, and over $2 billion in construction contracts. He has also proven his ability to perform time and time again on some of Miami’s most noteworthy projects, including Canyon Ranch Miami Beach, The Ponce De Leon Boulevard showroom for The Collection, The Brickell JW Marriott Hotel, The Santa Maria Condominium, and Grove Hill Tower.

Mr. Stepp holds a Bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida.
