Dr. Eric Flamholtz to be recognized as 2014 Olin Distinguished Alumni Award Honoree

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Dr. Eric Flamholtz will be recognized by Olin Business School as a 2014 Distinguished Alumni Award Honoree at the Annual Awards dinner to be held on March 4, in St Louis, Missouri.

The Distinguished Business Alumni Award honors Olin Business School alumni who have attained distinction in their careers. Those being honored share the characteristics of leadership: progressive thinking, high standards, uncompromising integrity, commitment, courage, and confidence. Their careers serve as models for all Washington University students and alumni. This year, the School will honor four Alumni, including Flamholtz.

Washington University in St. Louis, was founded in 1853, and has had a business school program since 1917. Its first MBA program was added in 1950. The core values of the Olin Business School are: Excellence, Leadership, Integrity, Collaboration and Diversity.

In 2006, he was selected as the recipient of the "Distinguished Ph.D. Alumni Award" from the Ross School at the University of Michigan. In 2011, he was appointed as an Honorary Faculty member at the International Academy of Business, Kazakhstan.
