Just in time for First Friday – Downtown Grand Las Vegas unveils new artwork in Art Bar

LAS VEGAS - Feb. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS – To highlight the vibrant and eclectic nature of the growing arts district in downtown Las Vegas, Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (http://www.downtowngrand.com/) showcases the artwork of Las Vegas artists at its Art Bar, a comfortable and stylish lounge where guests can enjoy a drink and small bites surrounded by stunning pieces of famous reproductions and original art.

Created specifically to showcase the works of local artists, Art Bar has regularly revolving art exhibits on display. The latest exhibit at Art Bar is from Sush Machida, a globally inspired artist fusing Eastern 18^th Century Edo-period principles with Western Abstract Expressionism and Minimalist movements. His collection portrays a sophisticated compilation of rolling waves, fluffy clouds, tigers, fish and birds, yielding “hyper-stylized Japanese art.” A special signing event will be held in March.
