Associates in Fort Wayne, IN lent helping hands at the United Way of Allen County, while those in Brainerd, MN pitched in at the Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen. In total, Ascensus associates donated 855 total hours of community work last year. Ascensus also gave generously to local and national charities. Through Comfort for a Cause, a company-wide program which allows associates who make a minimum $5 donation to charity to be rewarded with a complementary “Jeans Week,” a grand total of $13,945 was given to The Great Plains Food Bank in Fargo, ND, Ronald McDonald House in Tampa, FL, the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund in East Windsor, NJ, and others. “Year after year, Ascensus associates make tremendous efforts to enrich the communities in which we live and do business,” said Amy Walker, Senior Vice President of Human Resources. “We are so pleased that our employees continue to reflect Ascensus’ Core Values of People Matter.
