Festivities will kick off this weekend with Iron Age experiences at the Scottish Crannog Centre in Kenmore, food and drink tasting at the Courtyard and a Chocolate & Film Festival at the Birks Cinema in Aberfeldy . Director of The Scottish Crannog Centre, Barrie Andrian, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the WinterWeek+ Festival again. We have a range of Iron Age themed events on throughout the festival including Crannog tours by canoe, and a guided walk to the nearby Iron Age Hillfort on the Monday. But there is a lot going on in the area, from a winter farmers market in the square at Kenmore and Church concert, to red squirrel encounters at Cluny Gardens and whisky tasting at various events sponsored by Dewar’s Whisky. “ “It’s a fantastic way to showcase what Kenmore and Aberfeldy have to offer, and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors from around the country on their mid-term breaks.” For booking details and further information about WinterWeek+ events and activities, visit www.winterweek.co.uk End
