ATLANTA - Feb. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Radiance Solar Completes Development for 20.3 MWDC Solar Power Plant in Pelham, Georgia

ATLANTA, February 14, 2014 – Radiance Solar (www.radiancesolar.com), a leading solar company based in Atlanta, has completed construction and commissioning of a 20.3 MWDC solar power plant in Pelham, Georgia. The 120-acre facility, developed and owned by Origis Energy (www.origisenergy.com), is one of Georgia’s first large-scale solar power plants and consists of 67,600 photovoltaic panels.

A team of experienced Georgia companies led construction of the solar project:

- Radiance Solar performed design, electrical engineering and primary construction services.

- Cantsink Manufacturing/Cantsink of Atlanta provided and installed the more than 8,500 foundations for the solar racking system.

- Oxford Construction performed grading and civil works.

- Georgia Power Services constructed the high voltage AC system connecting the solar plant to Georgia Power’s transmission grid.

- Southern Burglar and Fire Alarm performed the surveillance and security systems installation.
