Ground Breaking Site Service for Gas and Power Brokers Bolsters Customer Service

BURY, U.K. - Feb. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Wholesale gas provider Crown Gas and Power (CGP) has launched a truly ground-breaking initiative with a raft of added value services that allow participating brokers to significantly differentiate their offer. CGP will enable brokers to provide clients with professional site-services such as pre-installation surveys and load studies, advice on meter requirements, redundant meter removal or relocation, upgrade to new smart meters and multi-utility installation.

Explaining the background to the move, general manager Terry Day noted, “By April it will be a legal requirement to have smart meters in all businesses consuming gas equivalent to 732,00kWh per year. We expect strong demand for the free meter installation offer.

Our fully accredited teams will install gas and electricity in a single integrated operation – saving time and reducing the pressure on project management. This is a unique service bundle that differentiates the brokers re-selling our service and enables them to exceed anything that their competitors can contemplate.”

CGP already offer several broker friendly packages on gas supply. In addition, their dealer platform provides software tools and systems so the broker can manage their business effectively. “With the addition of site-services we now have tangible products that will allow brokers to seek out opportunities with developers and contractors and offer a far more complete and distinctive service to gain a competitive edge,” Terry Day noted.
