Devolution Launches 2014 Student Design Competition

Feb. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Devolution is a Production, Marketing, Sales and Distribution service for the graphic apparel industry which provides new designers with a low cost entry to the marketplace.

The 2014 Student Design Competition provides current college students with the opportunity to win their own graphic apparel line. They will receive all of the same assistance provided to users of the paid service to help them grow their line into a successful business.

To enter students must design a six piece graphic apparel line using the blank apparel pieces shown on our website. Flat sketches have been provided of each piece to assist in the production of their line sheet. Full details of how to enter are available at http://www.devolutionproject.com/rules.aspx.

All entries must be submitted in the form of a line sheet along with the entrants Name, School, Year of Study and Major / Minor.

Submitted entries will be featured on our Facebook page until April 20th 2014, at this point the top 5 designs by way of likes and shares will reach the final. The winner will be determined by the highest number of votes received from a poll posted across all of our social media platfroms running April 21st to April 30th. The winner will be announced May 1st 2014.

The winning line will be produced and placed on sale on June 1st. The designer will receive 50% of the gross profits, designated as sales price less production cost.
