Loudoun County, Virginia Launches New Enterprise Resource Planning System

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Feb. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- On July 1, 2013 Loudoun County, Virginia successfully launched their new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system, marking the end of the first of three phases in a 36-month project. This system uses Oracle E-Business Suite software and replaces financial and procurement systems that have been in place for more than 30 years.

This first phase launch of the ERP project is a significant milestone in Loudoun County’s efforts to continuously improve services for its residents, students and businesses. The County government and Loudoun County Public Schools went live simultaneously.

“This is a major accomplishment for Loudoun County Government and schools,” noted County Administrator Tim Hemstreet. “The project team deserves congratulations for a job well done—this phase of the project came in on-schedule and on-budget.”

“It has been a pleasure to work with Loudoun County,” said Shaji Zechariah, AST Executive Vice President. “The entire project team was sharply focused on improving service to all their customers in the County. The team’s dedication and willingness to work long hours was incredible.”

Phase 2 of the project will replace aging Human Resources information and payroll systems.
