TBK Consult Selected to Train Turkish Software Companies to Support International Growth

ISTANBUL - March 4, 2014 - PRLog -- The Electrical Electronics and Services Exporters' Association (Turkish Electro Technology-TET) have kicked off a training program to help the Turkish software industry become more competitive and grow larger market shares inside and outside Turkey. The Sabanci University and TBK Consult will organize and deliver the training.

The Turkish ambition is to enter the G10^[1] before 2023. The empowerment of the Turkish software industry is the most critical enabling factor for the growth required to fulfil this ambition. The improvement in output, productivity and competitiveness must be facilitated by improvements in technology and business processes. These improvements must be supported by a strong and growing Turkish software industry.

Only by developing global software companies can we retain our leading position domestically in an industry characterized by the "winners takes all" phenomenon."

As part of the "Support for the Improvement of International Competitiveness" project which is supported and funded by Ministry of Economy, a 4-module training program has been developed for software executives of the companies in the Testsoft cluster. The training program will introduce contemporary business development approaches for sustainable business in global markets.

The four modules in the program are business model management and strategy setting, marketing strategies for software driven companies, channel development and management and entering foreign markets.

37 Turkish software companies will participate in the training sessions, which are organized and delivered by the Sabanci University in cooperation with TBK Consult. The training sessions will take place in Istanbul, Turkey in March and April 2014.
