World Down Syndrome Day Celebrated in San Diego with Trails and Rails!

Western Music Association Duo Harmony Winners, Walt Richards and Paula Strong, founded the acoustic group, Trails & Rails - combining their western history interests with their love of cowboy and train songs to bring you the best of both will perform for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families on March 21st 2014 at 3:30 PM Exclusively. This is a free event for members of SDDS

SAN DIEGO - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Pi Beta Phi and San Diego Down Syndrome Org Put on Festival for World Down Syndrome Day.

SAN DIEGO, CA - March 21st, 2014 - Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women at San Diego State University and San Diego Down Syndrome Org will be hosting a Spring Festival on World Down Syndrome Day for individuals who have Down Syndrome.

On March 21st at 3:30 PM, Pi Beta Phi and San Diego Down Syndrome Organization will host the spring festival at San Diego State University. The members of Pi Beta Phi created about 15 fun and exciting games for these kids to play and when they finish all the games they will experience receiving an Olympic style medal. This spring festival will not only be a fun and educational experience for the kids, but it will also be a great way for the community to really see how special these kids are. As San Diego Down Syndrome Organization puts it “These kids are the special treasures of our society.”

We would like to thank West Jet, Costco, Wendy's and Mc Donald's for their support of San Diego Down Syndrome and this event.
