Accounting Today Ranks McGladrey Fifth on Top 100 Firms List

CHICAGO - March 10, 2014 - PRLog -- McGladrey LLP, the leading U.S. provider of assurance, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, was recently ranked as the fifth largest accounting, tax and consulting firm in the United States for the eighth consecutive year by Accounting Today.

The accounting industry trade publication's 2014 Top 100 Firms list was featured in its “Third time’s the charm?” article, which says that this year marks the third year of positive overall growth for the industry. The publication highlights McGladrey’s (www.mcgladrey.com) strategy to serve middle market companies, as well as its acquisitions of Wilmington, NC-based Lanier, Whaley, Craft & Co., and Houston-based Margolis Phipps & Wright in late 2013.
