March 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Neil Summers, another member of The High Chaparral family who doubled as an actor as well as a stuntman on the show, will be attending The High Chaparral Reunion March 20-23 at Casino del Sol in Tucson, Arizona.

Born in England in 1944, Neil grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and found himself working both sides of the camera. He joined THC as a stuntman around 1967, working alongside Cameron Mitchell once again, having worked with him in Ride in the Whirlwind in 1966.

Neil has worked in well over 100 films and TV series episodes, most notably True Grit, Rio Lobo, El Dorado, McClintock, The Quick and The Dead, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Gunsmoke.

He is currently working on the set of the A&E television series Longmire. Neil says he’s been “killed” by the best many times over, including Clint Eastwood, James Arness and, of course, John Wayne.

Neil is said to have one of the largest collections of Western Movie memorabilia in the world and has written several books about Westerns and the stars and stuntmen that have made them memorable.
