Nate Jacobs and The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Go All Out for Dads!

SARASOTA, Fla. - March 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Founder of Every Thing for Dads, Jim McKenzie and former NFL wide receiver and reality TV Star, Hank Baskett will co-hostthe 1^st Annual Every Thing for Dads Convention on March 15, 2014 at the Gulf Coast Event and Conference Center in Sarasota, Florida. It will be the launch of a long-term grassroots movement designed to raise awareness of the increasing need for dads everywhere to be involved in parenting and for their role to respected and recognized in the parenting process.

This all-day event will include a VIP breakfast, celebrity meet and greet, workshops, breakout sessions, a Fatherhood Town Hall that will include a panel of knowledgeable commentators discussing the latest news and issues relating to fatherhood as well as dynamic and motivating speeches.

The exciting news update is that Nate Jacobs, Founder and Artistic Director of the renowned Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe in Sarasota will be putting on a special guest performance at the Convention as a prelude to the MEGA Dad Awards http://wbttsrq.com/ . As well as being the founder of one of the foremost African-American theatrical companies in America, Nate is a committed dad with a wonderful daughter, and has always been a great supporter of the Every Thing For Dads Convention.

For more than 25 years, Nate has worked extensively in the community mentoring, training, and developing young aspiring performing artists. A shining example of multiple talents, Nate is an actor, singer, comedian, playwright, composer and director who has produced and appeared locally in many hit shows. As a playwright, Nate has created both original and adapted works such as Motown 60s Review, The Soul Crooners, Marvin Gaye, the Magnificent Music of the 40s and Love Sung in the Key of Aretha.
