Urban Woods Continues Furniture Line After Viva Terra Closure

LOS ANGELES - March 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Viva Terra brought the world distinctive goods of exceptional quality and design with eco sensitivities since 2004.  Along their journey of seeking out the purest  ingredients and sustainable resources possible, they came across a furniture company making sustainable furniture from reclaimed wood in Los Angeles.  A partnership of shared values was born and Urban Woods teamed up with Viva Terra to design and create an extensive line of furniture that is made by hand in Los Angeles from locally sourced reclaimed wood and finished with earth friendly stains and waxes.

This original line of furniture grew from the unique and beloved Gustavian Bed and expanded for nearly a decade to include many new items, both classic and modern in style and serving every room in the home.

This month Viva Terra was forced to shutter their vast catalog and online business due to insurmountable economic pressures, thus leaving many orders unfilled.  This loss leaves a great void in the world of eco friendly and sustainable home products.  Urban Woods hopes to keep this need filled by joining other companies in offering the same great products that Viva Terra was famous for developing and sourcing from around the world.
