Allen L. Ellison Launches Congressional Exploratory Committee

The United States is in need of strong new leaders that can and will challenge obstructionist incumbents, and effect positive change for the greater good of the citizens of this nation.

SEBRING, Fla. - March 13, 2014 - PRLog -- The Ellison for Congress Exploratory Committee was created to test the waters of a congressional campaign and is proud to introduce Allen L. Ellison.

“After 5 years of constant obstruction in Congress, resulting in division, failed progress and a government shutdown that has cost us billions of dollars, it is clear that we must ignite new thinking, restore hope and revive the idea that together, we can move this country forward,” declared Ellison.

“Our economy is struggling along and, at the county level, I see every day how individuals, families and businesses are impacted by bad policies made in Washington. My goal with this exploratory effort is to find solutions to the issues that matter to the counties in the 17th District.

In talking with people from District 17 and from around the country, I’m convinced that they are looking for new leadership with bipartisan values. I want to thank everyone who has encouraged me to take this step. The expressions of support that I’ve received from people around the country have been deeply moving,” stated Ellison
