People interested in our cajon lessons can learn more here: http://www.lessonsthatrock.com/ Cajon lessons are a great way for young kids and children to start learning percussion or drums. Cajon only uses two sounds and thus is more simple than drums and easier for kids to pick up and understand. Cajon is also perfect for performing local coffeehouse shows where a drumset might be too loud, or there might not be enough room to fit a full size drumkit. Learning cajon allows kids the option to play individually or in small groups with other students such as guitarists, bassists, vocalists and pianists, which gain them more experience and confidence. Once they learn how to play cajon on their on, and in a group of other musicians, they are able to perform shows to show off their talent and abilities. You can learn more about our group music lessons here: http://www.lessonsthatrock.com/ Lessons That Rock owner, Micah J. Mata has experience teaching children as young as 3 years old on playing drums, and feels that cajon will be a great addition to their line of music lessons. We plan to teach modern rock, pop, blues and country songs on cajon, and hope that cajon students can one day make the transition to playing drums. The great thing is cajon can be an easy secondary instrument to learn for any student, instantly making new cajon students a multi-instrumentalist. End
