South Africa Comes to Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. - March 21, 2014 - PRLog -- United in their South African heritage, three-time Grammy® Award-winning vocal group Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Zulu-pop crossover artist Johnny Clegg will take their hugely successful road show to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall this Sunday, March 23rd at 7 p.m. In a very special evening, celebrating years of camaraderie between these fine musicians, audiences will be treated to a rhythm-filled Ladysmith Black Mambazo performance, followed by an audacious set by Johnny Clegg and his band.

Go Touch Down Travel & Tours and sister company, Touch of Africa, are sponsoring the much anticipated event and, for each ticket sold, will contribute 50 cents to support the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Touch of Africa will hold two drawings for a $500 gift voucher for the high-end South African Gallery on St. Armands Circle. Johnny Clegg will draw the winning entries at the end of the performance.  Guests will also have the opportunity to enter for the chance to win a South African Safari for two with Go Touch Down Travel & Tours; winners will be announced on March 31^st.
