March 24, 2014 - PRLog -- The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly going to release Desean Jackson if they can not find a trade partner for the wide receiver. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News was told by a source Saturday that “Philly is trading him or cutting him. That’s a fact. They don’t want him.” Sources close to the team have also reported that Jackson has “ruffled too many feathers” for Eagles coach Chip Kelly. However there have been several other franchises who are interested in Jackson, including the Jets, Panthers, Raiders, 49ers and Patriots.

NFL: Minutes after releasing Mark Sanchez, the New York Jets announced the team had signed Michael Vick. Vick’s contract is reported to be for one year at $5 million.

NBA: The  Charlotte Bobcats have reportedly signed forward DJ White to a 10-day contract.  The move was announced on Friday, March 21.

MLB: The toughest of the Milwaukee Brewers’ three seasons with Ron Roenicke in charge was enough to prove to team officials that he is the right manager for the job.
