BOZEMAN, Mont. - March 28, 2014 - PRLog -- COMINT Consulting and DRS Signal Solutions, Inc., a wholly owned company of DRS Technologies, announced that the Krypto500 collection, analysis and decoding software suite now fully supports the miniature SI-8649A Single/Dual Picoceptor ™ receiver. This combination produces immediate, actionable SIGINT through a unit small enough to be worn on the body.

Krypto500 by COMINT Consulting was designed for these extreme SWaP (size, weight and power) requirements while retaining unmatched performance standards. Krypto500 software can run as many as 32 decoders on one channel, then run 10 instances of the software while staying under 10% CPU usage.

Users receive in-depth, unequalled signal classification that specifically categorizes more than 3,000 signaling systems, identifying specific equipment, specific variants and submodes of that equipment – and specific users.

The software-definable architecture allows it to be deployed for a signal intercept/analysis application, then redeployed for threat warning, and redeployed again to other mission-critical applications, such as precision geolocation.
