By: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County Kickin’ it Country for Kids’ Sake featured three Pittsburgh-based country bands – The Stickers, Christian Beck Band and Stoney River Boys. Over 400 country fans attended the benefit concert where they participated in a silent auction and games such as Plinko in between acts. More than $11,000 was raised for the charity. Funds raised through the Kickin’ It Country for Kids’ Sake concert will go directly to BBBS of Beaver County to assist in securing more matches. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County has been providing one-on-one mentoring services to at-risk youth locally since 1975. The Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported relationships with caring and committed Big Brothers, Big Sisters and Big Couples.
