HANCOCK, N.Y. - March 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Hancock, NY — "Come Hell or High Water" is an annual fly fishing beer, art and film festival at West Branch Angler & Resort. The idea is to bring new people into the sport, celebrate the Catskills, the beginning of spring and a new fly fishing season. The expo is free to the public and an event you won’t want to miss.

Simms Kick Off Party: 4/11 7:00pm Join us at the River Run Restaurant for live music by local favorites Milkweed.  The event is free to the public.

Learn to Fly Fish for Free Orvis 101: This is an amazing program put on by the Orvis company learn to fly fish with a professional instructor completely free.  This year we offer both women’s only and coed classes.   The fly fishing 101 class is free online registration is required see our website for details.

West Branch Brewfest: Brand new this year we are adding a beer festival which will be highlighting a few of the areas top breweries such as Galaxy Brewing.  The event will have live music check out our website for more ticket information.

The Fly Fishing Film Tour: 7pm 4/12The fly fishing film tour is a 2.5 hour series of short independent films centered around fly fishing. The goal of the Fly Fishing Film Tour is to energize the industry and inspire filmmakers to create new cutting edge films to both entertain and educate outdoor enthusiasts. All silent auction proceeds will go to benefit Casting for Recovery, Project Healing Waters, Friends of the Upper Delaware River, NY Trout Unlimited. Tickets are 8.00 in advance and 10.00 at the door.

The Fly Games: The Fly Games are a series of events, which will pin competitors against each other in games of skill. This year we have tweaked a few of the old events and brought in a few new events that are sure to excite anglers of all skills and ages. Great prizes and trophies will be awarded to winning contestants you won't want to miss this!
