Precision's Paul Maley Wins Golden Gloves

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - April 1, 2014 - PRLog -- The Golden Gloves are a true test of grit, determination and boxing prowess.  New York has had some truly great fighters come through the ranks to win. Many of them have gone on to amazing careers at the pro level.  Floyd Patterson was a Golden Gloves champ and went on to win the Heavyweight title twice and was a Gold Medalist at the Olympics.  Mitch "Blood" Green was a four time champion and went on to have a great pro career.  Precision MMA's Paul *Maley has been in two Golden Gloves tournaments and has now won the New York State Golden Gloves title.

Paul Maley made his triumphal return to the golden gloves this year.  In last years final Paul lost a real close fight.  This dissapointment is enough to turn anyone off to the sport of boxing.  Boxing is gruelling enough and then to add in loing in the championship fight is just to much for many competitors. Paul kept training in spite of dropping a close decision at such a late stage in tournament.

The first fight of this years Golden Gloves saw Paul fighting another tough opponent.  There are no easy matches in the Golden Gloves and this year would prove no different.  Paul went out a had his typical fight.  He showed great hand speed and ring generalship.  These atributes are a staple of Precision's Boxing program.  The second fight was more of the same and again ended with Paul walking away with the win.
