“We at Gulf Coast School of Music are excited to hold our fifth annual Spring Student Music Show so that our adult and youth Pensacola music students can perform live for family and friends,” said Gulf Coast School of Music founder Jim Brown, who also continues to perform live around the Southeast with his band, Big Jim Brown, and has produced four CDs of original music. “We welcome anyone who enjoys live music to come watch our talented musicians perform. They embody our music lesson philosophy: learn to play the fun way. We enjoy teaching music lessons to students in Northwest Florida of all ages.”

Gulf Coast School of Music offers a unique approach to Pensacola music lessons: students learn both individually and as part of a band. Additionally, the Pensacola music school features a recording studio onsite so that students can learn about music recording and produce their own CDs. If students are interested, they can learn to write, perform and record original songs. When they’re ready, students perform onstage for their family and friends at a live show in a real music venue.
