LAS VEGAS - April 8, 2014 - PRLog -- From vintage radios and toy cars to antique slot machines and gasoline pumps, the next Victorian Casino Antiques auction is so big, it's going to take three days to accommodate all of the lots—"3 Days in May," specifically.

Happening live at VCA's Las Vegas showroom May 2-4, "3 Days in May" will feature 1,800 lots of hard-to-find toys, coin-operated arcade machines, advertising art, gas and oil memorabilia and radio equipment, including some extremely rare consoles from the dawn of the broadcasting age.

The first day of the auction will be dedicated to antique toys; most notably, dozens of vintage race cars in all shapes and sizes from the early-to-mid 20th century, many from Europe. Also included are a number of Japanese cars representing the futuristic, Atomic Age aesthetic best exemplified by the popular anime series Speed Racer. They are joined by American fire trucks, construction vehicles and diecast motorcycles, including a rare 1929 Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle.

Among the other fun and unique toys featured at the May auction are a “Marx Merry Makers” mouse band circa 1931, a mechanized Robby the Robot “Space Patrol” reproduction from Mike’s Toy House, and a circa-1947 German Arnold Mac 700 wind-up tin motorcycle and rider, in addition to a selection of rare Nancy Ann Storybook dolls from the 1930s and ‘40s.

Alongside the tremendous selection of toys at “3 Days in May” will be a large collection of vintage radios, microphones and broadcasting equipment. From hand-carved floor consoles and tabletop "tombstone" models to multi-function grandfather clocks and compact Catalin radios from such legendary brands as RCA, Norelco and Zenith, there's a lot for antique radio enthusiasts, musicians and audiophiles to choose from during VCA’s next live auction.

The rest of the three-day auction will be rounded out by VCA’s signature hallmark selection of vintage coin-operated machines, cash registers, gas and oil collectibles, advertising art, and other hard-to-find antiques to help bidders complete a collection, outfit a game room or just indulge in nostalgia.

The entire auction catalog for “3 Days in May” is available online at http://www.vcaauction.com, where bidders can also register for live or absentee bidding. On-site previews prior to the auction dates will begin April 14 at VCA’s Las Vegas gallery (4520 Arville St. #1) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, or on an appointment basis by calling 702-382-2466.
