Rick Warren and Saddleback Church Coming to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Rick Warren, founder and senior pastor of Saddleback Church, will be launching the church’s newest campus in Los Angeles on Easter Sunday, April 20. The services will be held in Hollywood High School’s 1,800-seat auditorium.

“We have been planning this for years and praying for it and I’m so excited to have a Saddleback Campus in the heart of the great city of Los Angeles,” says Warren.

Warren will deliver a live message, and each service will feature a bounce house for kids and Easter egg hunts.

Jeremy Haynes, a native of Los Angeles,  is the new campus’ pastor. “There are thousands of people who are chasing after dreams that have left them feeling empty and lonely inside,” says Haynes. “I believe that Saddleback LA will be home to many of these people who will experience a meaningful relationship with God for the first time. They will find purpose and a path where they can grow spiritually and do the things God had always planned for their life.

“Second, I just want to say it upfront—Saddleback is coming to LA to be famous. Yes, we want to famous for the way we love and serve our community in the name of Jesus. And there is no better day to start that mission than on Easter Sunday.”

Saddleback Church has nine Southern California, four international campuses, and an online campus.

Easter services will be held at 9 and 11 AM on Sunday, April 20 at Hollywood High School, 1521 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028
