Barcoding, Inc. Brings Live RFID Demonstrations to the 2014 WERC Conference

BALTIMORE - April 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Barcoding, Inc., a leader in enterprise-wide mobility solutions, announces its participation in the 2014 WERC Conference, to be held April 27-30, at the Chicago Hyatt Regency. Throughout the conference, Barcoding representatives will conduct interactive demonstrations of RFID via the “Be Connected” RFID Experience. In addition, Tom O’Boyle, director of RFID, will present a session on passive, low-cost RFID.

WHAT:
-    Live RFID Demonstrations: At booth #520, Barcoding will provide attendees with a firsthand look at RFID technology through its “Be Connected” RFID Experience. This interactive demonstration allows WERC attendees to test the functionality of a passive RFID system using information gathered from scanning their conference badge and linking it with a passive RFID tag. The goal is to demonstrate how RFID can be used to track and identify items in a warehouse or distribution environment.

-    Speaking Session: Barcoding director of RFID, Tom O’Boyle, will present, “Best Practices for Using Passive, Low-Cost RFID for Improved Asset Tracking" – a session on passive, low-cost RFID, at 12:15 p.m. (ET) on April 28 in the Supplier Presentation Theater.

-    Technology Integration Center Open House Week Signups: WERC attendees can register to join Barcoding experts at the Barcoding Technology Integration Center (TIC) in Addison, Ill., for its first-ever Open House Week, May 6-9. There, attendees can meet the Barcoding team, test the technology, and learn more about passive, active, and hybrid RFID. Light refreshments will be provided.
