There is no charge to participate in the fun. Enjoy environmental exhibits, face painting, nature scavenger hunts, opportunity drawings, live music and more. Bring a refillable water bottle. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Earth Day, IRWD employees gathered to plant 150 trees on land adjacent the San Joaquin Marsh and the Michelson Water Recycling Plant. That urban forest, commonly known as "Tree Hill," is a tranquil setting with meandering walking paths and benches for relaxing and enjoying the environment. Information about IRWD’s environmental programs is available on our website (http://irwd.com/ End
