About the Company

Fundraising Zoo offers kosher honey from local Kentucky bee colonies to be used for a Rosh Hashanah honey fundraiser.  The business began when Monica and Millard Long, with daughters Katelyn and Elizabeth, started beekeeping in 1994. Since that time the colonies increased from three to more than 200. They started Katelyn’s Honey as a business in 1995, and the following year began helping a temple in Cincinnati with their honey fundraising efforts. They now work with more than 250 groups to help them raise money for their Hadassah, temples, and synagogues.

The Fundraising Process

The Product

An eight ounce jar of pure honey, certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union, is placed in a gift box with a personalized card and mailed to your recipient in time for Rosh Hashanah.  Our partners at NorthKey take care of the packaging and getting your order shipped directly to the recipients that were designated on the order.
