Research carried out by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) found that the best workplace benefits encourage employees to stay with their current employer, as stated by almost three quarters (74%) of employees surveyed.

Sixty per cent said the employee benefits that were available would also influence their choice of career; a significant point for employers, as the employment market continues to grow, and good candidates are feeling more confident about changing jobs.

In the latest report, health and wellbeing-focused benefits were flagged up in the research as important, with a large majority (80%) of employers surveyed agreeing that healthier employees were more productive.
