Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County to honor local businesses and students

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - April 24, 2014 - PRLog -- What:  Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of PBC 17th Annual Triunfo! Gala Awards

When:  Saturday, April 26, 2014. 6pm.

Where: Palm Beach Zoo. 1301 Summit Blvd. West Palm Beach, FL 33405

Cost:  $175 per person. Tropical chic attire.

West Palm Beach, FL, April 14, 2014- With a Tropical theme reception the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County will host its 17th Triumph!  Annual awards gala at 6pm April 26 at the Palm Beach Zoo.

The event recognizes individuals and organizations that have shown outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Palm Beach County's Hispanic community in the non-profit, health and educational areas as well as small and large business enterprises.  The gala also honors the area's most promising students and awards them with scholarships.

In the past years, the Hispanic Chamber has raised over $80,000 for students who display academic excellence and leadership. These students have attended universities such as Harvard, Wharton School of Business and Florida's public universities as well

Caroline Villanueva Chair of Triunfo! 2014, says, "The collaboration with the Hispanic Chamber's Triunfo event furthers our company's commitment to educational achievement. We are proud to do our part in helping future leaders reach their dreams in college." Ms. Villanueva is the local government and community affairs manager for Florida Crystals.

Triunfo! Scholarships are made possible thanks to the generosity of sponsors such as Florida Crystals, NextEra Energy, Comcast, 1st United Bank, Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, BB&T, Wells Fargo, Cocuy, Burns & Co., PA, Burrowes Insurance, St. Thomas University Human Rights Institute, Port of Palm Beach, CBIZ and Broad and Cassel.
