Broadway Tap Dancer Thommie Retter Visits the GingerNewYork TV Show, New York City

April 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Thommie Retter: has a love for the entertainment business like no other and one will see this shine through in everything he creates.

Just finishing a 3 ½ year run on Broadway with, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, Thommie Retter had the thrill of performing in front of more than 1.5 million enthusiastic theatregoers.  With the curtain closed, Thommie has been able to return to everything else he loves like sharing his love of dance and music.  He is also treasuring this time in life watching his two beautiful daughters grow and blossom into fantastic young dancers and citizens.  Thommie Retter has ongoing classes in NYC that are full of child celebrities from TV, film and stage. Thommie always has students in a variety of Broadway shows including; Matilda The Musical, Annie The Musical, Kinky Boots The Musical, The Assembled Parties, Newsies, Fly and the US touring company of Billy Elliot The Musical.

Thommie Retter is one of the producers of the coming-of-age feature film Contest “The Movie”. The film deals with the tough topic of teenaged bullying along with other issues associated with adolescence. Being a part of the creative team at MusicWorks Unlimited since it’s inception in 2003 has been a creative outlet for another passion of Thommie’s, song writing. With song placements in a variety of films, TV shows and radio spots, coupled with his positive outlook on life, Thommie has no problem finding the pulse of the youth of today, putting it into words and giving it that Mr. Thommie touch that has everybody excited about dance and ready to take on the world.
